Bachelor of Social Work

Bachelor of Social Work is a professional course that addresses the needs of the society. It trains students to probe into the societal and individual needs and problems and problem shooting by mutual understanding or if need be by legal means. It aims at the overall progress of the society by welfare means/schemes. Students are specially trained to be the servants of society. The course comprises of theory and field work. Students are sent to a village, government and non-government organisations for the field work where they are trained for human service and also for professional career. It takes into consideration Child Welfare, Labour Welfare, Village Welfare, Youth Welfare, Women Welfare and Backward Class Welfare. The college also provides Master of Social Work.
